my immortal

when i was walking home from work tonight, i had five shadows!!

even more surreal... while running in the broad daylight on monday... i had TWO shadows!

the latter factoid is amazing because broad daylight means that there is only one source of light, thus there should only be ONE shadow!  i did not know what the other source was... perhaps a reflection?

whatever it was, i felt immortal for a moment.

(okay, immortal's a bit dramatic.  i don't know if i would want to feel that way.  but, i mean, two shadows... that's gotta be as close to immortal as i'll ever get... (i realize there are some theologians who could argue with immortality of the soul, resurrected body, etc.  but, you get it, right?)).
