oppression

i think i have experienced oppression*.

the perpetrator? 

chicago heat.

why have i come to this conclusion?

because today is humidity-free and i feel like an entirely different person.

seriously.  there has been a massive increase in joy, hope, excitement about the future... and i was able to straighten my hair AND have a bowl of soup for lunch.  both done without profuse sweating.

i also think that since today's weather somewhat resembles fall weather (which is my FAVORITE season), it is revitalizing.
