cheating?

i just had the loveliest of short visits from three of my pella coworker/friends... i was so thankful for a breath of dutch air! hopefully they are functioning well on their four hours of sleep!

but on another note...

i never thought i would run into the issue of cheating.

i know i'm naive and idealistic, but i thought that at the graduate level, we'd have gotten over the thrill of cheating and the easy way out... we want to learn this stuff, right?

but no, my fellow classmates have been circulating midterm exam questions given to them by monday's class who has already taken the exam.

my tension, now, is this... because i have chosen not to cheat, but i get a lesser grade... do i do something about it (i.e. talk to the professor)? or do i just let this injustice lie?

what a silly tension to have to face in light of all other difficulties in life...

also, i've acquired a cough that feels like it rips up bits of my esophagus... eeek!
