right after i got off the phone with my parents, my roommate's sister delivered the best surprise... gourmet tiramisu cupcakes!! one thing i've LOVED about the city are the delicious little cupcake shops... this picture is terrible, does it no justice... but gives a basic idea...
... and a picture of me enjoying my cake-the-size-of-a-cup... or singing opera and holding it in front of my mouth... (this picture makes me laugh at myself so much)...
