i was looking back a few days and realized the heaviness theme of my latest blogs.
so, in an effort to lighten things, here are some fun/funny things that are coming up in my life:
1. on saturday, i am going to a middle eastern club with my coworkers at my internship. this sounded a little terrifying already, but then the leader of this endeavor said, "music starts at 10:30 and the belly dancer will perform at 11:30"
....
what?!?! LOL i know it is an art form in their culture... so we will see how this goes! one of my good friends here is going too, so that will be helpful. also, i said to myself, "leah, you can leave at any time!"
2. i'm going on a blind date on tuesday!! i think it will be quite fun :).
3. i am going to be getting an iphone very soon! i feel a little like i'm "selling out" and joining the cliche big city crowd (so many people have them here!!). but it makes the most sense with life right now.
