i want to add to the beauty (and hilarity)

so, i started off on a walk, intending to maybe do my first video blog since i could go for a walk, listen to my ipod and have a camera and video camera all accessible to me in one gadget (i loooove iPhone 3GS!!).

here was phase one...

BUT THEN... almost immediately after i shut the camera off, i look down towards the skyline and there is this man jumping around the rocks IN HIS WHITEY TIGHTIES!! he skipped around the rocks for awhile (at one point, i thought he was running towards me... i wasn't sure how to respond... i've never had a man clothed solely in whitey tighties run towards me), then he jumped into the lake and jumped out. i wanted to videotape it, but realized i could potentially be exploiting a homeless person... as well as the awkwardness of me videotaping a half-naked man...

it was rather surreal.

but then, it doesn't stop.

i continue walking and arrive at the nature preserve in our area. i was walking around and this guy stopped me and showed me what he had found in a tree...



we still have no idea what it was. i left the man just hanging out, hoping the creature would pop its head out.
