i
do
not
like
writing
cover letters.
it
feels
like
slowly
peeling
the nails
off
of
my
fingers.
it
is
especially
challenging
when
i
don't
have
much
social
work
experience.
HENCE
the necessity of an
INTERNSHIP.

too bad that whole "served on a silver platter" concept is entirely fantastical.

Don't know if any of these have cover letters, but check out these resumes...seems like something you could pull off. You're pretty creative!

scott! i only looked at a few of them, but they are beautiful! i wish i could create one like that and still get taken seriously... maybe social work creativity is limited to resumes that have drops of blood from the "oppressed" or maybe i could grind it in dirt to represent the labor movement... or really, what would be most appropriate would to not have a resume and say, "my schooling says we cannot define or label people, thus i choose to not have a resume define or label me."
ReplyDeletethis profession is so weird.
